What we took away from the M&IT Awards

They say not everyone can be a winner. However, being nominated in the best UK conference centre category at the 24^th annual M&IT awards was a prize in itself. We did not win the gold award this year, but we returned to Lane End as one of four finalists in our category of this UK-wide industry award, voted for by customers.

Lane End Conference Centre is purpose built and privately owned, with over 40 years experience in running successful business events.

Mike Gough, Operations Director at Lane End said: “The team works very hard to deliver the highest level of service for our delegates. It’s wonderful that their hard work and dedication are being recognized for awards at a national level.”

He continues by saying: “It is especially encouraging to see that an independent brand like ours is acknowledged at this level.”

This specialist venue enjoys a wide-spread customer base from both the UK and Europe, partly because of its great proximity to Heathrow airport but heavily supported by the high quality service and training facilities on offer.

“We will continue to raise standards and increase our profile at a national level. Then hopefully we will be back to compete for this title again next year.”
